Surprise exhibition

Last week when I was in Istanbul, my mom and I went to MKM (Mustafa Kemal Merkezi) for grocery shopping since there is also a big supermarket. By chance, there was an exhibition of Rahşan Düren's latest art works at that time in MKM. When I saw that, I immediately wanted to take a look at her paintings. I liked a few of her paintings and I took some pictures secretly :) The exhibition was called "kaos - düzen" (chaos and order). Later I found out that, she is both an artist and a psychiatrist! :) 

Well, congrats to Psychiatrist Dr. Rahşan Düren! 

Woman on Canvas

I made this painting in 2006. I was inspired by the Turkish painter Gülay Yüksel. I like her paintings about women and her way of using the colors. So here is another painting of oil on canvas:)
