Fernando Vicente is a Spanish illustrator and painter. These are some paintings from his VENUS and VANITAS exhibitions. I like his different style.

İstanbul

I made these drawings in 2005. I was living abroad and I was homesick. I wanted to draw different views from the beautiful city Istanbul. I used colored pencils. 

Sunset

I did this oil painting in 2005. It's a painting of a photo that I got from a nature magazine. Actually, I don't like landscape paintings that much. So, this might be the only landscape painting I would ever made :)) 

Minjae Lee

Minjae Lee is a young South Korean illustrator and a painter. I like the way he uses the colors and I really like his work. I found out about his work thanks to my dearest friend Nesli. She is a designer and she finds amazing things sometimes. And I love this about her <3

Comics

O la laaa.. :)) It's the day for some funny comics pictures.. I drew the first one when I was taking French courses at Bilkent Uni. Its an image from our French course book called "Taxi". Parler Francais, S'il vous Plait! :D I wish I could speak French fluently. I love this language.. Second picture is the Snoopy! He is not in the mood to play today :)) Its so cute <3

Love of Madonna

I love Madonna since I was a little kid.. I used to have posters and pictures of her all around my room when I was a teenager. :)) I dont like pop music that much but its impossible for me not to like the queen of pop. She always manages to come with something different and new in the industry and her shows in concerts are truly amazing.. So I was so sad last summer because I could not go to her concert neither in Istanbul nor Amsterdam. I was in Holland when she had her concert in Istanbul, and right after I came back to Turkey permanently she had her concert in Amsterdam. Bad luck! :( I hope I will have the chance to watch her alive someday.. She is getting older and older so that worries me a little.. I should be quick to buy her next concert ticket.. 

Inspired by Jan Pieńkowski

I drew this in 2011 in Tilburg when I was bored with working on my thesis. I drew it with Stabilo pens. It was supposed to be only one color-light blue. but my blue Stabilo pen ran out. So I used a different color to finish it. But I think it looks nice with two different shades of blue.
