Van Gogh Alive

Today my sister, my eldest aunt and I went to an amazing exhibition at Cer Modern Arts Center in Ankara. I had been in Van Gogh Museum in Amsterdam three times because of my many visitors in Holland while I was studying there. But this exhibition at Cer Modern Arts Center was very different because of SENSORY4. Van Gogh is one of my favorite Dutch artists and I'm glad I had the chance to experience this Alive exhibition. Here are some of my favorite paintings of Van Gogh, some pictures and videos from the exhibition.

A new way to experience art
Venture into an exiting world; forego all preconceived ideas of traditional museum visits, dispel all notions of tiptoeing through silent art galleries to view masterpieces from afar, change how you interact with content, stimulate your senses and challenge your beliefs of what an 'exhibition' can be. Prepare yourself for a vibrant symphony of light, color and sound - combined and amplified to create what visitors are calling "an unforgettable multi-sensory experience'".

What is SENSORY4?
SENSORY4 utilizes a unique system that incorporates forty high definition projectors, multi-channel motion graphics and cinema quality surround sound - resulting in one of the most exciting multi-screen environments in the world. Huge crystal clear images, so real you want to touch them, illuminate a vast array of screens and surfaces specially tailored to the exhibition space.
